Molecules is supreme in this.

Cheers,
Colin
pubDate Thu, 08 Mar 2012 08:05:20 +0000 dc:creator Gibbo guid false comment 1230 at http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com I'll second the request for a http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com/forum/molecules-needs-cylinders-view-was-previous-version#comment-1073
I'll second the request for a cylinder/tube view as well as adding a request for wire/stick view.

Ball and stick is too busy for viewing the hydrogen bonding pattern in V-amylose for students. I've previously used alternative rendering on a laptop and really would welcome these additional views.

Cheers,
Gibbo
pubDate Tue, 13 Sep 2011 07:59:57 +0000 dc:creator Gibbo guid false comment 1073 at http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com I had some issues with the http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com/forum/molecules-needs-cylinders-view-was-previous-version#comment-1071
I had some issues with the rendering in this mode, so I removed it in order to get the application updated in a reasonable amount of time. In fact, some people had requested that I remove it because they thought it was useless and cluttered up the visualization options.

I'll add it back in, once I get a chance to work on this again. I also have some plans for improving the range of ways that you can customize the molecule visualization.
pubDate Mon, 12 Sep 2011 03:30:05 +0000 dc:creator Brad Larson guid false comment 1071 at http://www.sunsetlakesoftware.com
