typesetting mode
Really want the integral/derivatives stuff... But seeing as that's not coming soon, can you at least provide a way to use the symbols as constants or somesuch? Maybe even add a typesetting mode that will forgo the actual calculation(s) and let me just write my own equation (with symbolics) would be great ;) That is until you get the full (solvable) symbolics working ;)
Anyhow, love the app, and paid up for the ability to export as latex, just wish it had more symbols.
The concern I have is with confusing users. If I put in operations that don't do anything, even as symbols, people will try to use them and be upset that they don't perform the desired calculation. I don't have a good way of indicating that something is only useful for typesetting, not calculation.
If I can come up with a way that won't cause more problems than it solves, I'll gladly add this in.

Solution is in the thread title ;) Typesetting "Mode" meant not to do this by default, but enable somewhere in options/help/not-in-main-interface, you can even put up a big scary "THIS WILL BREAK STUFF" dialog when enabling if it makes you feel safer.
I'd like to add my vote for this feature too. Pi cubed seems like a really handy way for me to create a library of reference equations.

I agree with drazed.
I would really like to be able to typeset differential equations without any calculations being performed.
It would also be nice to typeset the summation operator for my stats equations.
