I have added a number of astronomy related equations to my iPhone version of pi cubed. Two questions:

1) is it possible to share these with colleagues who may have pi cubes?
2) now that pi cubed fully supports my iPad, how can I migrate these equations to that device?

Thanks,

Unfortunately, I don't have a good system in place yet for sharing equations between Pi Cubed installations. It's on the top of my list of things I'm working on right now, though.

As far as migrating equations from the iPhone to iPad, I describe a crude process in my recent post on the 2.0 update:

I'm working on better custom equation sharing support, but if you would like to copy across your existing custom library from the iPhone to iPad, you can use iTunes file sharing for this. Your iPhone must be running iOS 4.0 for this to work. To do this, install a fresh copy of Pi Cubed on your iPad and update the version on your iPhone. Connect your iPhone to iTunes and go to the Apps tab. Scroll down to the File Sharing area and select the Pi Cubed icon. Copy the "epsilon.sql" or "epsilon-imported.sql" file to your desktop (renaming the latter to "epsilon.sql"). Connect your iPad to iTunes and use the same File Sharing area to copy this file into Pi Cubed. When you next start Pi Cubed on the iPad, it will import the old equation database into the iPad version.

Thanks, Brad. That did it. I'd sure like to be able to keep the iPhone and iPad versions of pi cubed in synch automatically. It would be a big help. (That and easy entry of numbers in scientific notation. Hope we see that soon)
